God, The Ultimate Avenger

God is a funny subject.
He's an immense being with His finger put on all cells; full of wrath, full of love (and generally just full of His High, Almighty Self). But I am not here to dwell on Him (or for that matter, a lack of Him).
He's especially queer (i.e. weird) when used as a tool, in particular when used as an ineffable avenger. I find it a fascinating behavior of the believer – when to their benefit or against something they stand against, the religious mind will go from this:

It’s really amazing that the inveterate believer will depart so far from the their teachings, in a measly fuck instant. As soon as they are confronted with something they're confused into rejecting or basically something they just really hate…you know...with forgiveness and shit, the switch goes on.

It's deranged in a way that would make crazy people run for cover. God has been summoned so many times as an Almighty, Righteous (albeit Extremely Biased) Avenger in the support of wars, murder, hate crime, prejudice, and other more succulent and creative items on God's Cosmic Menu of Everlasting Love.
It's the ultimate, ineffable, incredible, infallible, and just outright ridiculous trump card.
Let me be clear: I am not posing a question of whether God exists. That's a question for another day. I'm simply asking: should (insert favorite deity here) be used as a support for immoral causes (e.g. gay-bashing, racism, murder, etc.)? Shouldn't a worthy deity, a grand being be left out of petty human affairs?
My point is the following: a god should be attributed the caring personality of Mother Nature, and not the vindictive persona of Galactus, Devourer of Planets.

A tres dias....¿Como votaras?
ESTA PARTE SE LA PUEDEN VOLAR SI NAMA LE INTERESAN LOS CANDIDATOS
Me tomo un break de la chercha para decir algo con seriedad. Un call to arms de cierta indole. Se aproxima la fecha de elecciones, y muchos ciudadanos jovenes como ustedes desconocen a sus candidatos o no saben por quien votar el 16 de Mayo.
Se que muchos encuentran el proceso futil y ridiculo, al punto que han querido llegar a votar por Ninguno. El rechazarse a elegir es un forma de eleccion y permite rienda suelta a un mayor caos en el proceso politico. La apariencia de Ninguno hace que entre los candidatos paguen justos por pecadores. Tony Raful Hijo expreso su descontento (http://www.facebook.com/notes/tony-raful-hijo/el-voto-x-ninguno/346833698025) en buena letra sobre Ninguno y sus seguidores, los cuales opino se dan mas por moda que por accion social.
Por lo tanto, escribo esto para pedirles el voto a aquellos que aun no se han definido (y tal vez influenciar a aquellos que Para los que no saben la circunscripcion en la que residen, aqui les presento un mapa de la ciudad:

Como ven, tenemos tres (3) circunscripciones en las cuales tenemos diferentes opciones de candidatos. Cada candidato a diputado impulsa a un Senador, pero el Sindico se elige aparte.
HASTA AQUI
Para la Circunscripcion No. 1 tenemos una serie de opciones muy interesantes y otras no tan. Comparto el pensar de Gilberto Objio en su nota “La gente me pregunta ¿por quién vas a votar?” (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#!/note.php?note_id=377685463298) que pone claro quienes podrian ser los mejores candidatos.
Tenemos a Pelegrin Castillo. Siempre ha sido trabajador y trae a luz muchos temas de preocupacion de la sociedad. No es la persona con mayor presencia, y parece un oso de peluche, pero es una de las opciones mas solidas de la Circunscripcion
Faride Raful votada como la candidata mas atractiva segun una encuesta realizada en Botando el Golpe, y Dios sabe que necesitamos caras mas lindas en el congreso jeje. Eso es a chercha, pero en su aspecto profesional y como candidata expresa ciertas virtudes que se han perdido en los candidatos que ya tienen tiempo. Es una persona joven, con la que nos identificamos, trabajadora, de alto conocimiento y con buenas propuestas. Espero que si salga elegida, pues alberga esperanza perdida en el proceso politico.
Luis Miguel Decamps, despues de leer a Objio me he puesto a investigar sobre este candidato y me ha resultado como una opcion muy interesante. El, como Faride, comparten vision de futuro prospero para con nuestra ciudad y sus habitantes. Mas me vale un gran deseo de cambiar las cosas, que años de experiencia estancada.
En la Circunscripcion 2 tenemos:
Elias Serulle es mi padre, pero no solo por eso los exhorto a votar por el. En todas sus campañas es notable el esfuerzo que pone a sus propuestas. Al oirlo hablar, y expresar las ideas, planes y proyectos a uno le llega un solo pensamiento, “Yo quiero ver eso en mi ciudad.”
Ito Bisono Siempre me ha caido bien. No he visto algun trabajo del reciente que proponga algo nuevo, pero realizando su labor es un hombre humilde y de trabajo arduo, que se empeña a hacer lo mejor que puede.
Para la Senaduria:
Cada candidato a diputado impulsa un senador. Asi tenemos
Milagros Ortiz Bosch. Votar por Faride Raful impulsa a Milagros en la eleccion. Ella siempre ha estado presente a través de los procesos politicos del pais y tiene mucha experiencia. No tiene la publicidad mas atractiva, pero si tiene una buena campaña de concientizacion sobre el voto.
Reinaldo Pared Perez Votar por Elias Serulle y Pelegrin Castillo impulsa a Reinaldo. Lo admito, este tiguere no es mi persona favorita del mundo entero. Cada quien tiene sus cosas malas y buenas, asi que Reinaldo no es mi favorito, pero no lo descalifico como posibilidad, ya siendo el mismo el actual senador.
Jaime Fernandez Lazala Votar por Luis Miguel De Camps impulsa a Jaime Fernandez. La realidad del caso es, que yo tuve que poneme a buscar a este candidato, nunca le habia visto la cara, nunca lo he oido mencionar, no creo que tenga una pagina de internet , en todos los articulos que lo encontre se refieren a el como “Candidato a Senador del PRSD”, aparentemente es mas facil para que la gente no se quede en el aire cuando digan Jaime Fernandez Lazala. Despues de revisarlo, tiene buen ojo para los problemas que se dan en nuestra sociedad y probablemente tenga muy buenas ideas, pero no he visto una accion de su parte que sea notable.
Para la Sindicatura (O Alcaldia)
Estos se eligen independientemente de los diputados y senadores.
Existen dos candidatos reales (mas o menos)
Roberto Salcedo (por este lo de mas o menos). No voy a hablar de canquiñas ni de Zoobertos. Tampoco voy a mencionar como tiene mas vallas que toda la Cerveceria Nacional entera ni como tiene ocho (8) años en la posicion y lo unico que he visto han sido las matas de palma que convierten mi ciudad en un complejo turistico. No mencionare su falta de atencion en la ciudad, y como su conceptualizacion de un buen trabajo es hacer algo, deshacerlo y volverlo a hacer. Tampoco hare hincapie sobre sus implicaciones de corrupcion. En fin, para ser justo, no mencionare lo que lo hace un mal candidato. Como buen candidato, creo que en el parque de Corazones Unidos tuvo buenas intenciones, pero la creciente poblacion de palomas se ha vuelto una preocupacion para el hospital que esta justo enfrente.
Alfredo Pacheco Siempre habran opiniones diversas sobre esta persona. La verdad es que me cae bien. Encuentro que su pagina es muy confusa y es dificil ver que es lo que propone, pero 5 minutos en la web te permitiran ver en diversas primicias de nuestros periodicos que se evidencia que es una buena persona que intenta hacer algo bueno por la ciudad. Si desconoces sobre el, y no te has puesto a revisar lo que hace y lo que propone, pues aun asi un voto por Pacheco es un no voto por Roberto :P

Hello! This is my Cat, Harsis!
Let's talk about sumthin fun, and sumthin I actually know a thing or two about. VIDEOGAMES! Some ppl ask, Why play videogames?..."waste their time" , they say....." you could be doing something productive, like your homework!" ....but u know what? Screw that! Life is not all about work. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"....I'd say it makes him a putz. I know, sum ppl read, others write, others shoot squirrels with bb guns, but I play because I love it.....and because it helps me keep my head when i feel like im losing it. Yeah, i know, this is the world we live in, and we've got to play by these rules if we're ever to play, but no one ever stops to say..."man...these are some bullshit rules! Why in the world did i buy THIS game?"
We live in a world that dupes us, where our first words will probably be IPOD...and SEX!....We live in a world, a world filled with beautiful life, that gets lost over a few words of discomfort. We're rebels!...but against what?! I like videogames because they tell you whose the bad guy. No uncertainty..no 95% Confidence Interval (srry....i took stats dis summer..)...just plain good and plain bad. No gray areas...just red crosshairs.
But life doesnt come with a manual...does it?. Life never told me to look out for people close to me, ppl i assumed were lookin after me, and most of all it didnt tell me to look out for myself! Never said, "Dude! Behind you!" (or rather....right in front of you). Not until it was too late. Shit, in metal gear you at least get a radar!. We barely get hunches, and c'mon....HOW many hunches have you been right about? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my life, and the ppl around me, and i TRUST most ppl that i call friends, and, as fun, awesome, good looking, great friend and HUMBLE as i am, I don't trust that easily...so those who are my friends...i do trust...wit all my heart, and i hope the feeling is mutual.
But shit is, life doesn't tell u this...no clear mission or anything....but worst is....it doesnt tell you that sometimes YOU get to play your own supervillain, and that sumtimes you think your high and almighty and think you can police the world and dare step on ppl that do not deserve it. Sumtimes we want to help but we cause more damage, trynna put fires out wit gasoline aint helpin...yet we see heroes of ourselves where other see just a dumbass. Sometimes we're the same ones we're losing to. Our side that seeks comformity, repetition, safe, but what's fun in safe? What's fun in playing the rules like we've been told!?
We live in a GREAT world, a place worth living in and dying for, yet we care more about brad and angelina's baby's bone structure?! Seriously!?....WTF?! I know i might be talkin out of my ass here...(like dats anythin new)....but we've lost ourselves to comformity! And yeah, im still a little kid and i still look up to my fake superheroes because this world's running a bit short! Ppl who stand up for what they believe in, even beliefs themselves are running short nowadays. But dammit! If there's something that one's gotta be hyped about is that its awesome to live! Yet we throw it away, comformity for freedom!. Sure, we don't get nightmares anymore, but when's the last time u really dreamt?
I know i sound crazy, talkin about videogame superheroes, but they're mine, the ideas embodied in them have long gone to waste here, Sure, they're not real, but what they represent it, or was, and i hope it'll be again. Telling the bad guys apart. Knowing, for sure, that it all work out in the end, that you're on the right side! Sorry....dunno why im even writing this...its not like im the poster boy for my own words...jeje..(dont worry, im not gonna say hope that i could summon Bahamut on my teachers....although it'd be pretty sweet..)..i hope i actually WROTE something down of the things i wanted to say, not known for words or eloquence but here are my delusions of some crazy mofo, but would u have me any other way?

I know i sound crazy, talkin about videogame superheroes, but they're mine, the ideas embodied in them have long gone to waste here, Sure, they're not real, but what they represent it, or was, and i hope it'll be again. Telling the bad guys apart. Knowing, for sure, that it all work out in the end, that you're on the right side! Sorry....dunno why im even writing this...its not like im the poster boy for my own words...jeje..(dont worry, im not gonna say hope that i could summon Bahamut on my teachers....although it'd be pretty sweet..)..i hope i actually WROTE something down of the things i wanted to say, not known for words or eloquence but here are my delusions of some crazy mofo, but would u have me any other way?
